Default An Interesting Repro

This is an interesting Repro upgrade https://www.gunsinternational.com/gu...n_id=101050795. It looks like an upgraded DHE with gold inlay, but the engraving on the bottom is different. Of course the stock is upgraded as well. The screws are misaligned, the SSBP isn't close to being flush, and the border checkering looks non-existant.

What do you think about the quality of the upgrade?

The case coloring is nice. The rest, not so much. JMO

I completely agree with Scot.

IMHO, this is yet another gun that falls into the ever growing category of those that alter-their-Repro-to-make-it their-dream-gun. And then, more often than not, ends up flowing down the river of commerce.

This is not an Upgrade. It is simply a custom gun.

All that was done to the frame was the animals and Parker name was inlaid in gold and it was Bone Charcoal colored. All of the “engraving” is as it was originally.

The stock work itself is pretty good in way of inletting and decent by way of form. It is a little full (fat) up by the head and wrist.

The checkering is horrible. Whoever did it should considder hanging it up. Or maybe they have already, which would be good.
