That is one nice G. The wood that adorns some G grades is often better, in my opinion, than that of D's. I have a 1903 P on a 1 frame with factory 26" barrels. At 6-10 it is a 12 that handles like a 20. I need another gun like a hole in the head but when the right G comes along I'm afraid my wallet will be lighter. Nice!

This is The Hollywood gun which came from Alex Kerrs. I have no idea who did the gold work.

The bird's profiles and postures all look like Robert Runge's work but did he ever work in gold that we know of? Typical G engraving but with a lot more filigris outside of the scrollwork than other G's.
