Default First "Short 10" ducks

These are the first ducks I harvested with this C Parker top lever. I am sure that these are not the first ducks taken by this 1884 10 gauge since it was in well used condition when I received it.

Wayne,
Thanks for posting the picture, what a nice way to go hunting with an old hammer gun. Was your duck hunting done near where you live? Most of my memories of duck hunting are freezing in a duck blind, or sneaking up to water holes (my favorite) where I could at least keep moving Thanks again for posting.

Great photo. Ducks taken in good fashion...with an heirloom gun that's "been there and done that" before as you say. In the end, we hunt more than game--we hunt experiences--and the richer the better.

Thanks Ed. I have several circuits of water holes in Arizona that I hunt. The weather is nothing like most of our members endure while duck hunting. In fact, the coldest part of my hunt is driving my ATV in the dark to be at the first water hole at daylight.
