Default model 12 shells

the model 12 came out in theheavy duck job with 3 inch chambers. i know they shot the winchester brand of 3 inch shells my question is did these first 3 inch shells say magnum on them....i have a few 3 inch super x shells that say 3 inch but it says maximum load no shot amount given but i m thinking these are the 1 3/8 ounce loads no magnum markings on these shells....then i have the super xshell that says 3 inch magnum 1 5/8 ounce load....now which loadcame out with the heavy duck model 12...both of these shells are super z made by western record.....charlie

From the introduction in 1924/5 of the Western Super-X, 3-inch, 12-gauge load, put up in the RECORD high brass case, the load was 1 3/8 ounce --

Along with the introduction of the Model 12 Heavy Duck, the Olins introduced the 3-inch Magnum with a load of 1 5/8 ounce of shot. From the December 24, 1936 Western catalog --
