Default A fine gun is in the eye of the beholder

My nephew and I took five nice roosters on TG day; I took two with my 16ga Sterlingworth. Woke to intermittent rain - heavy at times - on Friday so my old Stevens 5100 16 came out. Yeah, it's a bit heavier (but not much) and yeah, it's a little crude compared to the Fox, but it felt good - solid, familiar, reliable. It was too warm to stay frozen and got really sloppy; we packed it in at noon. Each knocked one down but lost both . I hope the old gun enjoyed being out; I enjoyed carrying it!
