Yes, William Harnden Foster is the artist. His paintings and prints are truly coveted.

The upper picture is in my neighbor's house. Could both pictures be of the same dog?

Bill Foster's friend and owner of the original skeet field here in Andover, Charles Davies, also owner of Glen Rock Kennels at the same address, raised, trained and sold English Pointers.

since he got some some WHF illustrations from me - i think there is a shine wall some place


my stack has many Osthaus (go figure) and more than a few A B Frosts - then a mix of others i just liked

I just noticed the painter of Jerry's bottom picture is "Hy" Hintermeister - another of my favorite sporting artists.

It’s interesting you never see a GSP in a classic grouse/woodcock painting. Nouveau dogs...
