Default How about those rabbits

I seem to remember that Calvin wanted to start a thread about rabbits but it never got started, so I'll kick one off. I think rabbits on Parkers are somewhat uncommon and this could be interesting to see how they look. We all have seen the infamous "flying Turnip" looking Parker birds; now lets look over the rabbits and see how they stack up.

Here are some rabbits on a B to start things off. Click to enlarge for a closer look.

You're up Calvin, lets add yours to the mix....

Wonder if the same fellow did all the rabbits every once and a while he got a wild hare. This gun is a 1881. What year is your B? Whats on the floor and the other side plate of your gun Robin?

Here is AH 10ga. 58911 with Rabbits and other critters. The engraver signed in the last picture.

Mine was made in 1879. I have posted pictures of this gun before, sorry for repeating the same old pictures. The other side has a dog pointing two quail and the bottom has a single flying "turnip" goose/duck. But, the guard has two dogs and a jumping rabbit.

The picture quality isn't the best, the animals are hard to see unless you click to enlarge.

I believe there is a D lifter with a bunny in your albums.

Default Other animals

Rabbits- that was a surprise to me! Any other small odd game? Squirrels? Racoons?
Like they say in the PGCA- "never say never".
