Default Lapeer Michigan shoot

It's May 11th, 9AM to 9 PM. A little different this year. We'll have 106 birds at SCs. It will be $45 at the door, $35 if paid at least one week in advance. Extra rounds are $25, all other games, Pigeon Ring, Longbird, 5-stand, skeet or trap are $5. You must pay for the SCs to be able to shoot any side game. Free display tables of guns or related items. The kitchen will be open all day. Why the change ? It was thought that you go to a shoot to shoot, not eat. One guy said " if I want a steak dinner I'll go to a restaurant, sit down, order a steak the way I want it and get it served. " Sooo, we upped the bird count to a price I thought was pretty good if you preregister, and not too bad at the door. I'll get some post cards out shortly. Make the checks out to me. My address is:
Paul Harm
818 N. Youngs Rd
Attica, Mi 48412

Hope to see all the regulars and maybe some new faces.
For those who don't know it's at the
Lapeer County Sportsmens Club
1213 N. Lake George Rd
Attica, Mi 48412

Just so everyone knows our shotgun program is open year around on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday for any style of shotgun. If you're coming any distance, or even locally, stop on out and say hi and shoot a round or two.

Looks like the weather Gods will treat me good this year. We had some work to do to get everything ready - increase our program to 13 stations. We still have one field down - motor on a LaPoirte. Hope it comes in on time.

Yeah, right This is the first time I'm not going to be able to make it, but I have to go up to Gladwin and take a good friend to Midland for a pacemaker replacement. Hope the weather Gods are good for you Paul.

Thought the only reason people ever went to Gladwin was for the Grouse Dog Trials. Hope your friend is ok

Hope all goes well for your friend. We will miss your lovely face. Everything went good - nice weather and none of the machines broke. The place seemed empty without the table of Parker guys. Hope to see everyone next year. A big thank you to those that did attend. It wouldn't happen without you.

Yep, everything is well just got back and my friend is on the mend. Paul, heard from a couple of the guys and they had a great time but I guess you had one station that nobody liked, probably due to their missing the birds at that station Will be there next year, I'll probably bring you the bad weather too

If that was the case there'd be a whole lot of stations I wouldn't like. Ken Hobday won the SCs and a pouch given to the winner. I'll see if I can't get a photo from Gregg to post. He had a 83/106. He shot with Bigtenfriend - not sure how he did.
