Nice one. We've seen it before - painted by William Harnden Foster.

Sorry if you feel posting is redundant. I remembered it from TPS I believe. It is called "Morning on the Marsh" painted in 1920.
I hadn't seen the H&R catalog cover before.
Inside cover of catalog announced H&R offer of limited edition prints for $20 with border for framing. This dates to about 1982 I believe. So Charlie you can look for a 22x28 print which I would like to have or find an 8.5x11 old catalog like I found for cheap.
Best,
Erick

Good Morning Erick. If you're referring to my post, I didn't indicate that I thought your showing that poster was "redundant". I said "I like it." and I said that we had seen it before. To say someone is being redundant, in my opinion, is derogatory and I would never do that. I like to see these old paintings and posters and don't care a bit how many times I see them. Bring 'em on...

BTW, I think that picture was in Muderlak's "Parker Guns, The Old Reliable" too.

I have made this image into a poster for my man cave from the National Sportsman magazine. I had it printed to about 18"x22" size and mounted on 1/4" foam core.
If you would like me to e-mail you a copy of this image e-mail me at clarter@rochester.rr.com.
