Default Barrel locking tab

I am showing and freely admitting my technical ignorance as it relates to Parker parts. What is the barrel 'locking tab'? And where might it be located? I have no diagrams. Thanks in advance.

could it be #33 in the Parts Illustration on our Technical Information page? It's the only think listed as a "lock".

I suspect it might be the tab in the barrel lug channel of the receiver that unlocks the top lever.

The only things that “lock” the barrel in the battery position are the bolt and the corresponding “replacable wear plate” in the lug.

If the gun is fitted with the wear plate.
