Default Damascus Refinish.

I didn't want to hijack Bruce's thread on Dale's work so I'll start a new one here.

Just got my barrels back from Brad Bachelder today, just in time for the Addieville 100 target SC shoot on Saturday. These are my "confidence" barrels I had Russ Bickel fit to my DH 2-frame last year. I'm ready now - these are great SC chokes.

Replacing the screws is the next step for this one and then it will be done.

Like I said, these are my "confidence" barrels. I predict a day much like the day I shot "Burt's Gun", if you remember that day. I'll certainly never forget that day. How sweet it was.

Those look great next Wed. I am going to drop off two sets of barrels to Brad, my 8 ga DH and my set for the DHE 16 (the Julia gun that I had to buy another gun to fix) both sets of barrels were refinished but they were done brown instead of B/W and Brad said he would be happy to correct that....

Hi Kurt,

In order of questions asked...

1. Unknown

2. Undecided

The colors are dark but are some of the best I've seen. I wish I knew who did the colors - I have a couple of other guns that could use recoloring like that. I just can't figure why someone would go to all that trouble and not replace the screws or put it back on face (which Russ Bickel did with the original Titanic barrels when he also fitted the Damascus barrels) but the screws are next for sure.
