Default N.H. goose hunt

Bill Janelle and I went on a duck hunt last sat. on the Oyster river along the saltwater coast. Bill was shooting hi NH 10 ga and I was shooting my Ithaca NID super 10 ga both shooting 1 1/4 oz of reloaded bismuth 4's. temps at 16 degrees when we put out. lots of duck at 1st light but no shots. Than the geese started flying and lots of them. Small groups of 6 to 25 at a time over a 2 hr period . We shot our limits of geese each and 1 mallard.

The ducks fly early and the geese fly late, the geese tend to pay for that.
