Default Parker repro value?

looking for a little help on value....

I am not really into the repros but ran into the following and wondering about value.....

the gun is a Parker repro DHE 28 ga 2 barrel set. Single trigger Straight Grip
barrel 1 is 28 inch Full and Mod, Barrel 2 is 26 inch Q1 and Q2

1 for end

gun has a little use but still in nice shape. Comes in original case.

what is a good price for this?

thanks in advance for your help.

James

I have recently sold two (2) both with the more desirable double triggers.
$5600-$5800.
Dealers are asking at least a $1000 more.

The combo Bob J. talks about, but with beavertail, sold for $10,000 at a Julia auction before the gun market crashed. Today, the Julia gun would be hard pressed to bring $7500, but a great gun for that price.

I kind of agree with Kenny. The addition of a beavertail and double triggers would increase the price quite a bit, quite a bit more than $1000. The gun you mention would be a great buy at $4800, if you can get it.

Bob J. just sold two DT sets for the above mentioned prices. They sell for different prices than they are advertised for. Not mine, of course. The $10,000 days are over. Maybe Bob would clarify the exact configuration of the guns he sold.

The best Repro 28-s are minty, double triggers and have beaver tail forend! If you find one listed on the net you will have to pay a good price to get it! 4800.00 would be a good buy for one with only one set of barrels and could always be resold with no loss. I have a couple pistol grip sets and need a English griped set. I would like DT-SG-BTF 26" Q1/Q2 and 28" M/F with case and cover....(-: 6-6500.00 would not be out of line for one with wood! SXS ohio......................If you have one to sell contact me!

I would not sell my single bbl 28 ga. for less than 5k if I were going to sell it. I bought it and a 20 ga. a few years back. Paid the going price, top dollar, of course. They are both 26"bbl. BTFE,DT Q1,Q2 guns. Have not shot the 28 yet. Been playing with some Browning A5s I got. I find that I really like the 20 ga A5. Had a 12 ga as a kid ,could not shoot it for anything. Got a 20 last year and all of a sudden I can hit with an A5. Go figure.
