If your gun is malfunctioning with the CSMC .410 barrels, then there is no way to analyze what the problem is without inspecting the actual gun/barrels.
Rather than pound on anything more, I'd get the gun to a competent Parker 'smith for a professional fix. You will be money ahead in the long run. Kirk Merrington, Del Grego or Brad Bachelder are good choices. |

Not opening may be the shell rims sticking in the rim recesses, especially if you're using Win AA hulls, which are generally out of round. Been there. The safety on my 28ga Repro gets stuck if I use the gun in wet weather. I have to work it by pressing it against a tree, which is no fun. Once the gun dries out it's fine again. I do not know the exact issue as I have not taken it apart, but I'm guessing it has to do with the safety link binding in the swelling wood somehow.

If one set of barrels has the issue and the other not, The barrels likely need additional fitting in the bolt bite area.

Thanks i will look into the bolt bite area
And thanks for all replies Scott will be 3rd on list for disposal I have had other problems with Csmc barrels , the ejector stop had to remilled thicker The original was brittle and failed the replacements 2 failed also |
