Default New guy from Pa

I'll keep this short .
In 1919 , my Grandfather bought himself a 12 Ga Parker . I know that it was built in 1918 .
He gave it to me when he passed in 1983 .
It is a Trojan , 30" full and full . Dual triggers .
Serial # 181495 .
This tool has harvested many rabbits and pheasants in it's nearly 100 years of service .
Guess I'll do some pics later .
It is in very good shape with 1 caveat .
I fell with it hunting and cracked the stock . I had a new one fitted and kept the original .
Of course there are correct serial numbers on just about every part in this shotgun as it should be .

welcome Richard

normally- repairing a Trojan stock is not cost effective - but for a piece with great family history it still may make sense- when you post pictures - please include some of the damage to the original stock. You will get some opinions on what would be involved in making the gun original again

Rick, not many years ago, Bishop and Fajen would fit and finish a Trojan stock for peanuts. Hopefully, Richard took advantage.

very i have seen a lot of those - some actually look ok - but- if the original is repairable- then the gun is back to what his Grandfather passed to him

just giving him options
