Default Gournet 410 WIP

I copied this off Geoffroy's Facebook page, hope he doesn't mind (not mine). 0000 frame unfinished A-1?

Wow! Very nice. It will certainly be a jewel when completed. A Parker .410 was always my dream grouse gun, but all I could afford was a well used Purdey 16 bore single!

I own a Parker .410, but the Purdey single would be my choice for a grouse gun.

According to Geoff, a 28 3-barrel set.

I thought the bolsters looked a bit large for a 0000 frame.
Beautiful work!

The 0000-frame .410 Repros are rare enough by themselves... so I wonder why this one was taken out of that tiny pool...?

Now, if it is in fact an "in the white" A1-S Repro or an original Parker 000-frame VH or VHE then more power to him!

The pictured gun is not a 0000 frame gun. Most of the 000 frame guns are marked 0000, but they are not.
