Default New generation

The 20 somethings discovered duck hunting last year and are hooked. Of course they don't want to drive to the local pickin' shed and sling the bull for an hour (second best part of the hunt), so they are wondering about setting up their own picker deal.

Does anyone have an opinion as to wax dip or the mechanical ones? Wax probably does a more thorough job, but the rubber fingers look easier.

We have plenty of barn rooms to outfit one either way. Any experience you fellas have would be appreciated.

Oh, by the way....we got some rain last week and the birds have arrived in great numbers. Seeing Cans, Goldeneye, and Gadwall which aren't usually found in these parts of the northern central valley. Limiting on Sprig, Teal, and Widgeon. Mallard haven't arrived quite yet.

The mechanical pickers are the way to go in my opinion. The waxing is just too time comsuming and if you accidentally spill the pot, well.......

Thanks Destry. By the way, I picked up the Stearns rain gear you recommended and it works fine.
