Default Visit with Dad

Here are a few photos from a visit with my father this fall.We haven't had many chances to bird hunt together and the last time in the marsh was almost 30 years ago. This is Shoal Lakes, Manitoba. Dad has his Winchester model 50, the only shotgun I've can recall him using. Mine is a VH 12, 2 frame 12 with 32" barrels. IMHO nothing better ever made for a day in the marsh.
Dad's 84 and still going strong.

A nice blue wing teal

The teal and a Canada goose.

I think that second photo would look great on the Home page!

Thanks Robert. Actually I was a bit disappointed with the teal picture. The vibrant blue colour of the wing just didn't come through.
