Our little duck hole here in Michigan is about done for the season I'm afraid. We had skim ice two nights in a row, I went out at daylight yesterday morning to check it and never saw a bird other than some geese. The season on them is closed right now but will open again on Thanksgiving morning, if the cold holds off a few more days I might go see if I can't get a couple for dinner.

It is beginning to look like a great duck season here in SC also. We are in a drought so all the ducks are concentrated in the rivers and adjacent flooded ricefields. The season opened last Sat for a week and then reopens early Dec.
Last weekend was fantastic shooting with everyone I have talked to getting a limit. The weather is warn, mid 70s, so one need to watch out for the gattors. David |

That sounds great.I am coming up in Dec to hunt deer with dogs ducks and Quail aka "birds".I will load up on shells.I used to have great duck shooting near Green Pond, but it had fallen off greatly. The deer hunting and bird hunting have always been magnificent.
