Default AHFCA announces the Bo-Whoop Competition Winners

The A H Fox Collectors Association is pleased to announce that Don Nickerson, well known LC Smith Collectors Association member, achieved the HOA score at our 3rd Annual Bo-Whoop Long Range Sporting competition held June 4-6 in conjunction with the Great NE SxS Event at Hidden Hollow in PA. Don fielded a 12 gauge 32" LC Smith Specialty Grade Trap gun with Hunter One trigger. He was able to bust 8 of the 10 targets that were presented in 5 simo pairs.

George Griscom, another well known LCSCA member, achieved Runner Up position in the shooting, with 6 of 10 targets broken. Don used a 12 gauge Fox Sterlingworth and he was the top Fox gun shooter; accordingly he was awarded our "Bo-Whoop Trophy" recognition for Excellence in Long Range Shooting and his name will be engraved on our perpetual trophy.

Congratulations are extended to both Don and George on their excellent shooting! We also sincerely thank all PGCA members who shot and/or helped out at the shooting butt during the event. Pictures of the winners will be posted on the Fox site in a day or so. We are all catching after the shoot!

Frank,Thanks for the post. I thought the targets even though not as far out as last year were very challenging. I think Dean and I scored 2 of 10! Never the less great fun!

Both were hittable targets but not easy to figure the lead on them. I think they certainly required more practice shots than either Dave or I took.

Thanks Frank - It was a worthy event.
