My "Bird Gun" purchased at the Spring Southern is a 26 inch 12 G 1 1/2 frame VHE. My opinion it handles better than my O frame Trojan 20 or 1 frame Trojan 16 . Guns are a only a few oz apart but it pays off how the gun feels.
Use the same shot weights all three, 3/4 & 7/8, the 12 patterns better too. Don't overlook a 1 1/2 frame D Grade. May be easier to find than a one. William |

Stock looks like a replacement. Keep in mind the only people who have to be happy about a deal are the buyer and the seller

Very poor restock. And overpriced for the quality of it.
A 2 frame 30" gun? Hardly a lightweight bird gun.

Though both of my "go to" upland guns are damascus DH 12 #1 frame guns, you might look for a 1 1/2 frame with 26" steel barrels. I have a VH in that configuration and it is a very fast handling gun and a pleasure to carry. Much lower price too! Once the gun is mounted it's impossible to tell if it has 26" or 28" barrels.
