Thanks for the heads-up. Peru is in a state emergency due to COVID-19. Hopefully, this is the reason for the shutdown.

I first encountered Star shot around 1986. It seemed to have better consistency when it came to being round compared to domestic brands. It was selling for $8 for 25 pound bag making it a no brainer for skeet and trap singles.

Roto Metals is still accepting orders, cost a bit more than my local gun shop, but he does not have any price is irrelevant with none on hand.
Surprised their web site accepted the order, Roto is California based although my last shipment did not come from California. Ohio I think. Will update when and if it arrives. William |

If memory serves in 85-87 or so I was paying $10 a big for regular and $11 for magnum at Fairfax Rod & Gun . That was for REM or WIN brand , then later they had Lawrence . They had a pile of Lawrence Blue Bag #8’s at the local nuke plant back then and they sold it all to someone for $3 @ bag and that person sold it for $5 @ bag . That was supposed to be the cheapest grade of Lawrence and it broke skeet/trap targets well and I’d hate to admit the number of dove it killed .
