Default BHE 12ga and 20ga

I ran across a couple BHE guns, 12 ga and 20 ga, 2 barrel sets, Straight stock, double trigger, splinter FA, new unfired in the boxes with matching serial numbers. Choked q1/q2 on the 20ga short barrel for sure. I don't see many BHE's come up for sale and its hard to determine what the market really is. I looked in the story and see there were 100 12ga and 20ga BHE made, is the configuration described rare? Matching serial numbers on 20/12 gauge together, is that common?

Thanks for the lesson.

Brian:

While I have nothing to offer re market value, I do hope you share the whereabouts of these BHEs in the event you decide not to pull the trigger.

While I'm not an expert, I've not seen a pair like you're describing. Good luck and we're all curious to know more!

If there was ever a 20ga set fit for the addition of 16ga bbls - this is it

Although they don't show up every day, there are original Krieghoff 16ga bbls out there that are yet to be serialized.

..there might even be some 3bbl cases somewhere to be had..even if they are not I would guess emmebi would make one provided they have the matls...and for a price.

Obtain a set of those, have them engraved proper, serialized, and add them to an original 3 bbl case

Would not come cheap but combined with the 12 ga to make up a 3ga set - talk about a dream set!!

Brian - I wouldn't ponder these guns too long if you are truly interested and they are available
