IMR Handloader's Guid has scads of low pressure 700-X loads in all sorts of combinations. Same powder, wad, same weight as lead, it's a bismuth load, too. No fuss, no bother.

As others have stated 4100-12 & 4100-12B are the same wad.
I've used this wad for at least 20 years now for 7/8 ounce loads. Some of my most even patterns use this wad in a WAA hull,Winchester 209 primer, 18.5 grains of American Select powder at 1200 fps and 5600 psi. The load is right out of the Alliant manual. Ted I have been using 17.5 grains of Clay Dot with the CB4100 wad and win. 209 primer with 7/8 0z. of 7&1/2 for the last four years. Nice lite load and doesn't beat you up. I shoot twice a week 100 rounds each time.

Thanks for all the replies! I'll keep going with the Clays loads and also try some of the other suggestions.
