Default 16ga

Quality G.

A western upland game gun from a pioneer Mormon family. Prairie grouse engraving.

For those curious, the wood is not below level and the butt and forend are correctly serial numbered.

I wonder if that gun was ordered without checking? It looks to be in great shape.

My kinda gun. Been looking for one of those. Don't know any Mormons, however.

Bruce, I have 45899, D2 T 0 C 16 30 on an "0" frame. This gun was part of a large order sent to E.C. Meacham. Mine was fitted with a full length rifle tube in 25WCF . Will post pics at a later date.

Very interesting. This one was sent to a dealer in Provo Utah.

This gun was loose in the lock bolt and the right hammer screw had worn threads. Brian Dudley did a fine job of replacing the bolt and making a new screw.

I wonder where 45900 went, E.C. Meacham or Utah? Would be nice to get the three together again.
