New Member in Virginia
Good afternoon:
Just wanted to take a moment to check in and introduce myself to fellow members.
Long time admirer of the Parker Gun and it's history. Dedicated waterfowler splitting time during the seasons between Virginia and my home State of New York. This year I re-discovered how much fun partridge hunting is while home and plan to do more of it in the future.
I also belong to the Remington Society and my chief firearms interests are pre-WWII sporting arms.
Professionally, I am currently Deputy Director of the U.S. Naval Academy Museum in Annapolis. For the past eleven years I was the Senior Curator of Ordnance at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico. Also a Navy vet, serving 20 years as an Aviation Ordnanceman.
Married to a Brit gal, and she has me wearing tweed now instead of my trademark ball cap, Bean boots and chamois shirt.
Anyway, thanks for having me and if you stop into the museum look me up.
Kind regards,
Al
