I believe it was the S.S. White Gun Club in Holmesburg Junction.

Drew, I don't think I will join the Berks County Historical Society to see the information on this gun, interesting as it may be.

Bah humbug Bill. Day Pass is only $1

Dr Keeler hit 101 straight with a 26" barrel Parker.

Here you go Bill...maybe...if you hurry
http://www.readingeagle.com/berks-co...-family-legacy

I've pieced together some of the history of my Parker, No. 216802, and the intertwined family history. Manufactured in 1926, the gun is a 12-gauge side-by-side. It is a field-grade firearm, far from the finest that came from the Parker Bros. factory, but still a valuable sporting arm that otherwise would be beyond my resources.

Whether it was produced as a custom order for the doctor isn't clear, but features of the gun offer intrigue and appeal to a certain shooting style.

More serious shooters than me call it a "fast" gun. At slightly less than 7 pounds, it is light for a double gun of its era. The barrels are just 26 inches, short by most standards, but an asset when swinging through tight cover after a flushing bird. The barrels are choked differently, with the second tapered for longer shots.

I received my copy of that issue a couple of weeks ago. It is a great read!

Thanks. Didn't get anything, but I appreciate your intentions. My PHE vent rib Trap gun, 218,XXX was found in Berks County. I don't mean to eliminate my serial number, but I just can't remember it. By the way, Drew, my PHE Trap has a set of 26" vent rib barrels that have killed a few pigeons in the ring when the ejectors on the long barrels were being repaired.
