A cast and blast event, what's not to like about that. Two of my favorite things combined into one event. Hollywood has created a River runs through it. They need a movie about old time shotgunning and bird hunting with doubles.

Read the Intro on Batha and his premise, that is good stuff. The Orvis guide to gunfitting and the first part of that book speak to his methods. Reading that and then getting quality instruction would benefit almost any shooter, even the ones that think they don't need it, you can pick something out of it.

Default Fly Fishing & Wingshooting Expo

Chris Batha is the "Real Deal"! My goal with the FFWSE was to bring back the traditional sportsman show, a show totally dedicated to the sportsman with exhibitors that are in direct relation to the theme of the show, not the cell phone guy, the insurance guy or the bamboo pillow guy Also to bring "The best of the best" when it comes to our speakers, to have our guests leave our shows not only entertained but educated to become a better sportsman, whether it is their technique or the issues that surround our sport. This my promise to all our exhibitors and guests "A True sport mans show dedicated to the essence of our sports"!

So Ray, when will you have a wingshooting and fly-fishing show in Boston?.... or at least a little closer to mid-New England?

Many years ago Silvio Calabi had just such a show in Boston and that was it - just one. Sure wish there were more here in New England.

I am actively searching the country now for areas to expand. New England is definitely an option! Try to make the PA show, we have some great lodging options and the entire weekend is filled exciting events, like our Saturday night Sportsman's Banquet and of course Chris Batha's Shooting School! Would like to see you at the Expo!

Thanks Ray. George King was a rare and wonderful man. His writing really spoke more of the man writing those words than what the words themselves told.

I absolutely agree! I have had the privilege to hunt and train dogs with Richard "Dick" Weaver and he knew George very well. I am overwhelmed by the stories of this amazing man!
