Default Gun ID?

I'd appreciate a little help identifying a shotgun. It appeared on the cover of the Fall 2018 Delta Waterfowl Magazine.
I "hope" to try to attach a scanned photo and a scanned close up.
The gun held by James Ford Bell looks a little "Parkeresque" but I don't believe it is. There looks to be a single barrel and I doubt he would hunt with a gun like that.
Does anyone know what gun this might be?
Thank you in advance.

Looks like a graded Parker single barrel trap gun to me

The knobed front lug is very characteristic of European guns, and as someone said, possibly a lower grade Merkel or any of the many makers from the Suhl area.

I’ll bet it’s a Belgium O/U! Maybe a guild gun.

Considering Bell's net worth, it could be a Boss or a Purdey or anything, but the protruding lug suggests something else. The exceptionally long slim forend suggests Merkel or something else German.
