Default WEIRD WEATHER FOR WINTER

We have had some strange weather here on the mountain especially for winter snows one day then thunder a few days later this one spawned a couple tornadoes a few miles away, golf ball hail lucky we missed it. This was a bad front that came thru later that day, Gary

Richard, are you cheering or complaining? I have not had to plow my driveway at all this winter which is just fine with me.I saw pairs of Canada geese flying about this morning while shooting clays. Spring is just around the corner but at 18 degrees on the clays course it did not feel much like it.

I heard they had to bring in rail cars of snow to Anchorage so the Iditarod dog sled race could start on snow.

I'm mildly complaining. If it's going to be winter, let it be winter. There's enough snow though. More people are ice skating in Anchorage due to lack of snow. In Fairbanks it's fat tired bikes on snogo trails. I've been riding my mountain bike and walking on the trails. Skiing isn't too bad but a bit icy. They did take train cars of snow to Anchorage for todays Iditarod start.

This is an area I work in. The fools I work for wanted to send me here about the time the tornado hit. They ignore tornado warnings. The oak tree in the cemetery must have been over 200 years old. The graves were exposed four feet down but there was nothing there.

Syracuse is still the leading "most snow city" but only has about 80". By the end of a normal winter, they could have 200 plus inches. I am not complaining.
