I don't believe there are enough praises for the Parker Pages. Definitely the best read for me. Mike Franzen's article could be the best so far. Mike mentioned Rob Keck. I first met Rob Keck in the late sixties. Rob is originally from Perry County, PA. I was visiting my uncle and we went over to Rob's to pick up the first, that I ever heard of, mouth call. I watched Rob cut pieces of aluminum and poke holes in them with a nail then cover them with plastic tape. I hunted with my uncle many times after that and he called in many turkeys with the mouth call. As the article says Rob went on to become a champion caller and as they say the rest is history. Read the PP while at Hilton Head today. Unfortunately, the gov ordered mandataory evacuation tomorrow due to Hurricane Florence. This is the2nd year in a row we have been run out by a hurricane. but don't worry about me, I am not a beach person anyway--pray that all in the path of the storm remain safe.
Dean, another great PP. Mills, I totally am into "shooter" Parkers. David, that was a great road trip

Thanks Harold! I am not a fan of beaches myself, but Hilton Head is a good place. They are predicting the storm will hit Myrtle Beach or north and I don't understand why they are evacuating down here.
