I started using the Thermacell 13 years ago . Bought my first at the Cabelas in Dundee MI . I bought it strictly for use on the Eastern Shore of MD for the early ML deer season in October those little buzzing SOB’s there will eat you alive . Anyway when we started damage control deer hunting/shooting in July August they were s life saver .

I don't believe there are enough praises for the Parker Pages. Definitely the best read for me. Mike Franzen's article could be the best so far. Mike mentioned Rob Keck. I first met Rob Keck in the late sixties. Rob is originally from Perry County, PA. I was visiting my uncle and we went over to Rob's to pick up the first, that I ever heard of, mouth call. I watched Rob cut pieces of aluminum and poke holes in them with a nail then cover them with plastic tape. I hunted with my uncle many times after that and he called in many turkeys with the mouth call. As the article says Rob went on to become a champion caller and as they say the rest is history. Thanks again Mike.

I have one tiny complaint: I finally joined the Doubles Club, and the list hasn't appeared in the magazine since I got in !

Read the PP while at Hilton Head today. Unfortunately, the gov ordered mandataory evacuation tomorrow due to Hurricane Florence. This is the2nd year in a row we have been run out by a hurricane. but don't worry about me, I am not a beach person anyway--pray that all in the path of the storm remain safe.
Dean, another great PP. Mills, I totally am into "shooter" Parkers. David, that was a great road trip

Thanks Harold! I am not a fan of beaches myself, but Hilton Head is a good place. They are predicting the storm will hit Myrtle Beach or north and I don't understand why they are evacuating down here.

Sorry Phil - We'll publish an updated Doubles Club listing in the Spring Issue, 2019, after we have received entries from members for this fall's hunting seasons.

Yeah, I opened mine and it was the x-rated version of Stormy Daniels' new book "Full Disclosure."

My copy arrived in the great white north yesterday. Coincidentally, the first snow day of the fall too. Great job by all.
