Rich,
I have just the place off of Turner rd. to carry that beauty. Hard to find, but easy walking once you are in there and lots of birds. What a beauty.

Well Harold we just might have to take her out on Turner rd this fall, it will be a good excuse for you to use that lovely DHE 16 you showed me.

Is the Whitworth stamped wheat sheaves on the bottom of each barrel tube?

Or is the Peerless stamp on the bottom?

Dean there is no indication of any type relateing to the type of barrel steel used. I'll bring this to the Southern however and it can be more closely examined.

Default We are missing 8000 Parker shotguns

This is a really neat gun but what is it really?
250,XXX serial number gun?
8000 guns past the last known Parker?
Where are the guns from 242488 to 250,000?
It sure looks like it is a Parker. But if I altered/changed a serial number on an existing gun, I would be worried that there is some federal law involved. Maybe there isn't. There must not be or someone wouldn't do it. I'm sure this is a real serial number or I'm sure that it is legal to alter a serial number. I am also sure the present owner didn't alter the number anyway. So who did if it was done?
I just wish I could find the missing 8000 guns.
