I think Parkers should follow gold... they're about the same as gold in my opinion.

Great we'll petition Obama and Geithner to initiate the new Parker backed US currency. Seriously, I don't buy guns for investment purposes, however, besides some farm land bought 10 years ago for hunting, my guns have appreciated more than my stock portfolio in the last ten years.

I think Parkers are better than gold. How many double eagles does it take to kill a grouse?

Let's see, gold is at $1750 or so per oz. that would make my VHE trap at 8lb 6oz worth about $234,500. I'll take it! Great idea Dean. I'm finally able to retire. Wohoo!

Good buy. You will come to REALLY like the beavertail on that gun. They look and feel very 'right' with them once in hand. You'll hardly notice it has a beavertail when you handle it. I can tell you I paid a lot more than that for my 2-bbl set 28.

The 20ga 2-bbl set he has is an NSFL set s/n 39. The wood is about as nice as you'll find on a Repro. That's the lowest s/n set I've seen aside from my 28ga set.

You will love this gun and the Q1 and Q2 chokes are perfect for upland birds. Don't think twice about the beavertail, it is perfect on the 28's. If only it had double triggers!
