what a good day you boys have had..i m gona go in the morning gona squirl hunt with the dog first then mix in a little deer hunt that evening..gona take the 20 vh in the morning...charlie

I'm guessing that sinking a pea hull boat in 26 degree weather was a little bit on the bracing side. I thought I was cold standing in a metal pit blind......

Steve - He was home nursing an injured back. If he was not on the DL we would have had him in the boat with us. 10 bore in one hand and the double reed daisy cutter in the other. With the season cut short, I did not get the opportunity to hunt with him this year. I wish I had.

Here are a few more pictures from my season

First is DEMPS fetching up our birds on frozen Wednesday.
Second Is Doug and his dog Hanna after he doubled on greenheads -
And third another of DEMPS with a mallard sneaking up behind him.
