As of Friday morning 11/4 there were only two tables remaining that had not been reserved.

For anyone concerned with getting their guns to the Las Vegas Arms Show or the Annual Meeting for the People's Choice, there is a FedEx store right in the Westgate Hotel that you can ship your guns to and they will hold them for a few days (call ahead to learn how far in advance you can send them). This FedEx store has held Colts, Winchesters, and other fine collectibles worth hundreds of thousands of dollars without ever a problem. Some of the biggest collectors and best auction houses use their services without hesitation.

Yes, the People's Choice theme has been determined.

This year we will not focus on a particular grade, gauge, or period of the Parker Gun but the People's Choice theme is "Your Favorite Parker". In other words, it will be a 'wild card' -

Whichever of your own Parkers you like best or is your own favorite "carry gun" or your nicest "safe queen" or your "go to clays gun"..... it really doesn't matter - just bring it and it will be judged on its own merit. You may want to display your PGCA Research Letter with it or maybe a single page about why it is your favorite.... But you must not sign it or include your name. We're judging the gun, not the owner. These display guns should be anonymous.

Mine's not anonymous, Dean, but unanimous and magical for me: original 1889 hammer 0 grade 16 lightened and fishtail. I wish I could be there, a wonderful theme.

If a research letter is included, you should blank out your name and address so as to not reveal the owner of the gun.

I originally was going to share a display table, but that fell through, so now I have a whole table. The question arises, where do we get our show badges and our table assignments? Who is collecting the names we want for our table badges so they can be made ahead of time and we don't have to stand in line there to have the badges made?

Dave: That information was never given to me. I'm sure Josh will chime in soon. RD

Dave and Dick,

We are compiling the names for the badges now for the show promoter. Most likely, I will end up picking up the badges from the show promoter on Wednesday and will have them with me. The best thing to do is call me when you arrive. (704) 280-2382. I won't be far away since I will be with the Julia's crew setting up their displays.
