Thank you, Bill. I'll look it up. By the way, I've contacted the Valentine Museum here in Richmond and I should have more information--and possibly pictures--in the next week or so. According to the Valentine Museum, T. W.Tignor's Sporting Goods had two Richmond locations: 1219 E. Main St. and 1719 E. Franklin St. ca 1900. I have not found the location of Blandon Park . . . yet.

In "Parks and Playing Fields," by Harry Kollatz Jr. (Richmond Magazine, April 11, 2014) the author identifies Blandon Park as the current Byrd Park here in Richmond, VA. Though he calls it a "skeet field," that is the place. Through the good efforts of the Library of Virginia, I was informed that Blandon Park lasted until 1902.
