Is Don implying that my VH 12 gauges aren't worth more than $225.00? I was hoping for a bit of an increase in value over the years.

The catalogue is still on line for any that don't have the printed version.

Best Regards, George

Yeah, click on the gun section of the website, click on "current auction", use the search function for "parker" and the guns will appear in the order in which Robin posted them. Thank you, Robin. I hate waiting for the prices to appear on the website. Let's hit the "thanks" button on Robin's post. I just did that.

A couple of years ago, Kevin McCormack and I were talking to a fellow we have known since I was a kid and Kevin wasn't much older and he was telling us how he doubled his money when he bought the pair of A1 Specials that sold in the auction for $225,000. Kevin may correct my memory, but I think he paid $2500 and sold them for $5000, maybe it was less. Abercrombie and Fitch paid $325. Another friend of Kevin's and mine owned the guns in between our other friend and the consignor. If we grill our friends about whom they purchased the guns from, we would have an amazing, almost complete history of this pair of guns and a 6000 percent ??? appreciation. Or is it 60,000 percent ???

Default Julia Auction

Mr. Murphy,
I know you like guns with some provenance, so how many of the Lee Marvin pieces did you buy from the Julia Auction ?

I'll have to go back to the website and see what Lee was selling.

Bill ... Lee Marvin was one of my favorite actors, but I hardly think Lee is very capable of selling anything ... from his grave at Arlington National Cemetery.

James, you really think that I don't know where Mr. M Squad dwells?

Results are published on Julia web site. Looks like the A1 pair (and several others) did not sell.
