Default Herco?

I see listed loads for 12-28 ga, yet nobody ever talks up Herco. Why not?

I've never used Herco but one of my clays friends has for years and he prefers it for 7/8 ounce 20g and 3/4 in 28g. Just over the weekend I did a search for Alliant powders thinking I might buy more for 20 and 28 but like all other Alliant shotgun powders I use, Herco was sold out at all of my familiar on-line vendors.

A very useful powder for heavy duck loads in 12 and 10 gauge and also for 28 gauge loads. Slower than Unique but useful in similar loads. I haven't been into my Herco for years because I have plenty of Unique.
