Default Help with identification

Chain pattern Damascus comprises a large percentage of our refinishing. Regardless of the brand name, the pattern is fairly consistant. Size and spacing seem to be the only variables. In this last group we ran a set of LC Smith, Meriden, Lefever and a set of Baker barrels as pictured below. The first three are typical but the last pictures are what was first thought as a basic Baker chain. However, after the first rusting it became obvious that this was not chain. What is it? I can't seem to ID it?
Thanks,
Brad
