What mistakes have you made buying Parkers?

Judging condition only comes from years of looking at guns and purchasing a couple of bench mark guns. I question collectors that say they have never lost money on a gun. Man, how I would love to be shown how to use these tools properly. I have a drop in choke gauge, chamber gauge and the gun measuring tool from Robert Louis I picked up used.
