If I ever get around to it I'm going to shoot some of my 10 guage 2 7/8 Peters paper shells. Once I have the empties I'll work up a 1 1/4 oz load of #4 shot with 700 X and roll crimp it. Should be good for woodcock.
You trying to vaporize those little ruddy fellows!!!!! I'd stoke those shells with #9 or #10 shot. That would be the ticket out of the 10g for Woodcock!!
