Default 8 gauge at the Spring Southern

Guys, I had been in contact with the BOD regarding an award for the 8g event for the High Parker Gun. They gave their approval and even though the time to order an award is short, we will have one on site for the event! Originally I was hoping to have a plaque done up like the Oscar Gaddy award, but the usual maker is having difficulties making them. The award will be "The Parker Gun Collectors Association Memorial Award" and "High 8 Gauge Parker Gun". This is to memorialize Alan Swanson, Rich Flanders and Charlie Cleveland.

Add this to the $100 cash prize Craig L is putting up and we really have the fixings for a hot contest!!

See y'all in a few weeks!!

Life to me is one gauntlet after another. If the damn 8 gauges weren't so heavy I would give it a try. But that might be one gauntlet too far.

I will have my 8ga bore gauge at the 8ga event Friday and can measure your guns bores and chokes if you would like. Craig Larter

Oh man I need to figure out how to size the shells and load them quickly! I only have 20 loaded for turkeys and pigs
