I looked at the gun tonight and it is interesting to say the least, a 16 gauge Specialty with 2 barrels, 30" measures 0.032/0.032 choke and a 28 1/2" set measures 0.004/0.009 choke. The 28 1/2" barrels have the same indent on the top and bottom rib at the muzzle and bead placement that the 30" do making them look original???? The Cody letter does not mention a 2 barrel set but they sure look 100% factory original. The forearm and barrel set each have a corresponding 1 and 2 stamped on the iron and barrel. It is a SST pistol grip with ejectors and the wood is in great shape with exception of a 7/8" pad making the LOP 13 7/8" to the single trigger. Metal is original with 85%+ barrel blue and only trace case color left. Sorry but I can not post pictures yet. Any additional help on value would be appreciated.

Asking price is the question, someplace in the $3k to $3.8k range

Sounds very reasonable if the gun has the "original look".

Here it is, pretty cool gun in very good condition, wood has been refinished, bores are perfect and overall it is pretty nice for its age. If you have any thoughts or opinions please post on the forum or more candid views send me a PM.

That is very nice. You probably should give that crack on the stock some attention, but otherwise it looks very good
