Without taking the gun to bits, it is difficult to say for sure what the problem is. However, many of these top bolts work against a V-spring that also tensions the top lever. It may well be broken.
The fix should not be too costly. But, you should take the gun to a qualified double gunsmith. And you won't find him at the local Gander Mountain. In CT, I recommend you contact Galazan's. |

Thanks. Was hoping for some tips on dissasembly. I can handle minor repair myself. No issues striping a Parker thanks to Brian's great intrsuctions. Just never had a greener type gun apart. If this was a really fine valuable gun I would most likely Send it out. However, these German guns , as much as I like them, aren't worth much, no matter how finely they are made. If I can't fix it I'll probably just shoot it as is.

Got it apart, wasn't too difficult. The tang that actuates the bolt is just a bit worn. Will weld it and refit it.
