Default NSFL

Just purchased a NSFL 28 ga 2-barrel set for what I beleave is a fair price. Question on chokes, Sk-I & Sk-2: Are they exactly the same constrictions as the Q1 & Q2, & since this is a Skeet barrel gun were they manual safety & not auto safety. I won't get the gun until its shipped. Also, I assume value & desirability, eventhough it's a limited addition is probably the same as a normal Parker Repo.

The skeet marked barrels must have been a very short term of service. Anyone know whether the skeet chokes were ever seen in Repro advertising?

I always refer to “The Parker Story” when I’m looking for a definitive answer to Parker questions.

It appears the SK-1 & SK-2 were offered in the last year of production, 1988.

That is correct David. In December of 1988 Tom Skeuse learned he had lost the contract of Parker Reproductions manufactured at the Winchester Olin factory in Kodensha Japan so those chokes endured until the end of production possibly into 1989.

Picked up a NSFL 28 gauge (28-037), new in the box, & yesterday purchased her sister NSFL 20ga (20-037), new in the box. Who knows, I may eventually come across their sister 12ga, 2-barrel set.
