Roger gave me a box of #5s he made up for "Old Clunk" a couple years ago. I am going to take them with me to SD next month and burn them up in my 2 frame GH with 30" damascus. See if I can whack a phez or two for him.

Fred,
I've got a couple boxes of those on stash myself. Will probably shoot them up at squirrels since that was Roger's favorite game. Destry

Roger never gave me anything, but I like him a lot. His contribution to Robert Owen family research was a real piece of work.

I saw a Willis and Geiger shirt XXL Long (just my size) which Roger had apparently given to the PGCA auction. I inquired about how i could make an absentee bid, and Roger sent a note telling me that he was sendiing another to me Gratis. I sent a contribution to my favorite conservation group commemorating his generosity.
Altho I never met him, it is possible that my mother-in-law, or her sisters may have cleaned his house years ago. He lived in a beautiful section of Perrysburg OH, just across the river from Toledo. |
