Default Oklahoma Quail....

Goose Hunting in Oklahoma, boys got me out in the quail thickets. Wind was blowing a gale, moved three covies but they were wild as crows. Still a great afternoon with friends and a good dog.

Hope you had two guns with you. Those quail are kind of hard to hit with full and full.

Everybody needs a bird gun, that's my little 16 gauge VH O frame. Bargain basement gun show score couple years ago. I promised it to Eric Eis but he waited too long to come get it, I took a shine and decided to hang on to it.

I don't remember you offering me that gun.....but as long as you are enjoying it that's great (just remember me if you want to sell it) Hope the winds die down some for you, nice looking dog.

Now I know the real reason you went down there... I knew it wasn't the quail ! Did you use the VH 16 on them..
