Default VHE upgrade to AHE

This is an upgrade I did about 20-25 years ago that I saw come up for sale recently, I did the stockwork, checkering, & receiver profiling. I should have kept it, but at some point something has to go or the safe overflows.

Wow, an exceptional gun. Who is selling this?

It's already been sold. For your info. the engraving was done by Richard Boucher. He did most of the Pachmayr "Parker upgrades" back in the 80-90's

WOW, love the Hessian-style (slim profile) forend!! The custom-stocked AE Fox 20 ga. 32" gun we bought from the Dana Tauber collection in Julia's 2017 auction has a nearly identical forend treatment. I don't know who restocked the gun but the quality of the wood to metal fit is unsurpassed!!

I did the stock work, checkering, & receiver profiling. I've been a stockmaker for about 40 years.

Wow, what a beautiful gun!
If I were younger and in a different tax bracket I would love to own one like that!

BTW, back in the day, I owned a beautiful Runge DelGreco A1 Special that was built on a 32" Remington VHE Trap Gun.
This was the highlight of my Parker collection that I unfortunately had to sell.
If you want to make a lasting impression at a pigeon shoot, just set an A1 S trap gun in the rack alongside the Italian P guns.
