I believe Abe Chaber at Custom Craft Ltd. in Danbury,CT is a highly recommended Hunter One Trigger gunsmith.

Like Charlie advised, contact Jerry Andrews, 304-843-1740.
Jerry is a Hunter One expert. He is also fast and very reasonably priced! Further, Jerry is a member of the PGCA. This is his website: http://elsiesmith.boardhost.com/index.php |

Any shotgun with two barrels-
Should have two triggers-IMO. I avoid any LC Smiths with the hunter One Trigger- whether the original Alan Lard selective one, or the later less complicated non-selective HOT- I have 4 12 gauge "Elsies"- 3 are pre-1913 graded guns- all have double triggers. Every one of the gentlemen mentioned here has a first class reputation- but I put a lot of store in what my MO gunsmith guru Buck Hamlin says about HOT- you won't find Buck on the Internet- a wise man, avid turkey hunter, performance car buff- he doesn't own a computer- I have done business on gun parts with my West VA friend Jerry Andrews (he also makes some superb bamboo fly rods and is an avid fly fisherman) and second what "Big Friend Ten" said about Jerry-honest as the day is long, and very fair to deal with-
