Default Front sight info needed

My 16 ga GHE 222380 donated the front sight post to the dove gods this fall, doubtless laying in a sunflower field in Zavalla County, TX. The hole in the rib does not appear threaded, had a brass "post" type sight. I believe it is simply press fit and just got loose and fell out on the ground in the heat of battle. Can anyone point me to a replacement? Any help much appreciated!

The standard bead would be a threaded (no2) nickel silver bead. A brass one would not be factory. So you are likely going to have to make or modify one to replace it.

Brian, thanks for the information. Sounds like I need to examine the hole in the rib under a bit of magnification after detailed cleaning, quite possible I simply didn't see threads. Do you have source for a proper replacement? If so please advise, I'd like to replace it with an original or a quality reproduction. If the threads are not serviceable a tiny bit of good epoxy might be my best bet.
